The Event Manager is responsible for all elements of the end-to-end management of an event, including sourcing, logistics, financial management and communication with our transportation team.
He/she will manage the process from the intake interview and the initial proposal for the venue with the associated budget, taking into account the standards, procedures, and policies of the client and American Express Meeting & Events.
This position relates to the Pharma/Medical client sector.
This role focuses on our 'retention strategy'. All activities contribute to the key responsibilities of overall customer retention regarding establishing a professional long-term relationship, excellent service, and account expansion.

It is the management of

As the Logistics Lead, you’ll bring all of these moving parts together, creating the operational strategy, plans and processes that make complex events work.

About The Role
In this role you will be responsible for driving new business income into BCD M&E. Sourcing new opportunities and identifying new revenue streams, whilst actively promoting our sales strategy internally. About The Role

As a Production Manager, You Will

We are seeking a highly organised and reliable Events Assistant to join our growing B2B marketing agency. C2events is seeking an experienced Venue Sourcing Manager to lead and develop our Venue Sourcing team while delivering exceptional venue solutions for meetings, conferences, incentives, and events around the world. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on venue sourcing expertise. You'll oversee complex sourcing projects, strengthen supplier partnerships, drive team performance, and contribute to the continued growth and success of our business. What You'll Do
- Lead and develop the Venue Sourcing team through coaching, performance management, and ongoing professional development.
- Manage complex venue sourcing projects from initial client brief through contract execution.
- Provide consultative venue recommendations aligned with client objectives, budgets, and event requirements.
- Conduct venue and destination research across domestic and international markets.
- Negotiate competitive rates, favorable contract terms, and added value with venues and suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, venues, destination management companies, and industry partners.
- Collaborate closely with Event Managers, Account Managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
- Monitor team performance, commercial results, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Drive process improvements and support the adoption of sourcing technology and best practices.
- Contribute to departmental strategy, business development initiatives, and overall agency growth.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in venue sourcing within the meetings, events, hospitality, or agency sector.
- Previous experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or managing team members.
- Strong knowledge of UK and international venues and destination markets.
- Proven experience negotiating venue contracts, supplier agreements, and commercial terms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of profitability drivers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated-industry clients is highly desirable.
- Experience with Cvent or other venue sourcing platforms is a plus.

Organised, calm and collaborative – we’re looking for a committed and proactive Senior Project Manager with experience managing campaigns, creative activations and live events. You possess the ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and make decisions. You’re confident in leading a diverse team of creatives, designers and production specialists to ensure projects, events & activations are executed flawlessly.

What You’ll Be Doing
Working as part of our Creative Services team, you will oversee the smooth running of creative projects from start to finish. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day project schedules, creative deliverables, internal meetings and reviews & working closely with creative and account teams, to deliver high-quality work, on time and on budget.
Other Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, identify resourcing / staffing needs and timelines across multiple departments
- Project scoping, financial tracking & reporting
- Managing creative teams and deliverables between US & UK-based teams, managing timezones and approvals to maximise efficiency
- Monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems while proactively identifying solutions
- Conduct and manage internal meetings to review status of all on-going projects
- Develop and nurture strong working relationships in our team, and across wider agency to encourage collaboration
- Overseeing the output of the team; acting as the final checkpoint to ensure quality is kept high across all projects.
- Communicate project status both internally and externally according to agreed account process.

What You Need
- 5+ years’ experience managing briefs from initial briefing to delivery
- Experience working in a creative agency
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in live event delivery or F1 a bonus
- Experience working with design identity & roll out is a must
- Excellent understanding of project finances and commercials – estimating, scoping, timings, tracking and reporting.
- Technical competence and understanding of a full creative process
- Confident communication skills both internally and externally with client.
- Comfortable and confident in working with all types of people is key and relationship-building is a big part of the job.
- Be able to handle multiple projects at any given moment often under quick turnarounds.
- Remain calm and personable even under pressure and when working to tight deadlines.
- Be organised and methodical in their approach to work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications & Asana
- Passionate about F1 or NFL a bonus!
