Job Description
This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage projects through all stages of delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest operational standards while maintaining clear communication across clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Manage projects from planning through to on-site delivery and post-event review
- Produce detailed project plans including schedules, staffing requirements, equipment lists, logistics planning, and operational timelines
- Coordinate project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track
- Produce accurate project updates, schedules, reports, and delivery documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure clear communication across internal departments, suppliers, and stakeholders throughout delivery
Client Coordination
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients and projects
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, regular updates, and effective expectation management
- Lead project meetings and ensure actions, timelines, and deliverables are clearly communicated and tracked
- Coordinate effectively across clients, suppliers, production teams, and operational stakeholders to maintain project alignment
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate technical crew, suppliers, equipment, freelancers, and operational logistics across projects
- Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery on-site
- Support international travel planning, freight coordination, scheduling, and operational requirements
- Align internal departments and operational teams to ensure project milestones and delivery requirements are achieved
- Support quality assurance across project delivery and operational execution
Budget & Resource Management
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting across assigned projects
- Monitor project spend and identify any risks, discrepancies, or commercial impacts early
- Manage project scope changes and communicate impacts on timelines, budgets, and operational delivery
- Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, financial records, and operational reporting
- Coordinate resources effectively to ensure delivery standards and operational efficiency are maintained
Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Proactively identify project risks and operational challenges throughout the project lifecycle
- Support the implementation of mitigation plans to minimise operational and commercial impact
- Adapt quickly within fast-paced live event environments and make decisions under pressure
- Support contingency planning and project issue resolution to maintain delivery standards
Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Build and maintain positive working relationships across clients, suppliers, freelancers, and internal teams
- Communicate effectively across multiple departments and operational stakeholders
- Support collaborative working practices across production, technical, logistics, and operational teams
- Contribute to continuous improvements in project delivery processes and operational standards

Responsibilities
Project & Client Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of high-profile Formula 1 hospitality and technical production projects internationally
- Maintain ownership of key client relationships, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead project meetings, client presentations, reporting, and strategic planning discussions
- Oversee project scope, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and operational planning across multiple concurrent projects and workstreams
- Manage client expectations proactively, identifying risks, changes, and opportunities before escalation is required
- Build long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for account growth and additional project work
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Project Managers and Coordinators across projects
Operational & Delivery Oversight
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including production, technical, logistics, operations, suppliers, and freelancers
- Align internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure delivery remains on schedule and to the required standard
- Oversee international travel, freight, staffing, scheduling, and on-site operational requirements
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest operational standards
- Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation and contingency plans to minimise operational and commercial impact
Technical & Production Management
- Apply strong AV and technical production knowledge to support project planning and delivery
- Work closely with technical and production teams on system design, equipment selection, and implementation
- Conduct venue and site assessments where required
- Support quality assurance across project delivery and technical execution
Financial & Commercial Management
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
- Monitor profitability and implement cost control measures where necessary
- Oversee project scope changes, ensuring impacts on budget, timelines, delivery, and commercial performance are effectively managed
- Manage supplier relationships, quotations, and commercial negotiations
- Review project financial performance regularly and take corrective action where required to maintain margin and delivery standards
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and strategic client contacts
- Influence and coordinate stakeholders across multiple departments and operational teams

- 5+ years’ experience in senior project management roles within live events, technical production, AV, motorsport, Formula 1, or agency environments

This role is suited to an established AV professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent client-facing skills and experience leading crews on high-profile events. As a Senior AV Technician, you will take ownership of the planning, preparation, delivery and continual improvement of AV systems across a variety of projects, with a particular focus on Formula 1.
You will be responsible for leading event builds, mentoring junior technicians, maintaining exceptional technical standards and ensuring our clients receive a seamless experience both on-site and throughout the project lifecycle.

- Prepare equipment for Formula 1 and live event deployments.

Training & Development
