As our client base and project scope continue to grow, this is an exciting opportunity to join our fast‑paced, innovative team.

The Role
This is an entry‑level position within a thriving events agency at a pivotal moment in our growth. We’re looking for someone driven, curious, and ready to get stuck in as we consistently go above and beyond for our clients.

As a Production Assistant, you’ll work closely with the assigned Project Lead across multiple projects, supporting the planning and delivery of major events including the BAFTA Film Awards, Fashion Awards and Pride of Britain. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across every stage of event production. We’re seeking an energetic, ambitious and highly organised individual who’s excited to help deliver the exceptional events Nibbs Events is known for.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the project team with administrative tasks across tenders, pitches and live projects from planning through to delivery.
• Manage daily administrative needs such as meeting scheduling and room bookings, travel arrangements, agenda preparation, minute taking, research and supplier coordination.
• Support calendar management across the team.
• Handle confidential files, correspondence and records with care, accuracy and discretion.
• Oversee Nibbs Events’ office administration, including handling deliveries, collections and general office organisation.
• Manage the team’s inventory and storage unit, coordinating deliveries and maintaining efficient storage solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Provide flexible operational support onsite to ensure the successful delivery of live events. Working on workstreams such as accreditation.
• Contribute to internal brainstorms and creative development sessions within the core team.
• Assist with website updates and social media planning.
• Coordinate annual internal company social events and support ongoing client engagement activities and gifting.
• Stay aware of evolving trends shaping live events, entertainment, experiential marketing and social media.
• Ensure all work is completed on time and to Nibbs Events’ high standards of quality.

What We’re Looking for
You don’t need to have done it all, but you do need to be passionate about live events, incredibly organised, and ready to grow within a fast-paced, supportive team.

Skills & Experience
• Clear passion for live events.
• Some previous runner experience on live productions is desirable.
• Excellent organisation, multitasking and time‑management skills.
• Flexible, adaptable and confident prioritising tasks under pressure.
• A positive team player with strong initiative and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Experience in events, hospitality, marketing or a customer‑facing role is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
• Based in our London office at least four days per week.

You’ll thrive here if you…
• A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to shared success.
• Calm under pressure and quick to adapt when plans change.
• Excited to work across a wide range of event types, sometimes at short notice.
• Friendly, outgoing and confident building relationships with crew, clients and suppliers.
• Motivated to learn, grow and take on new challenges.
• Proactive and able to take charge of workstreams.

What we offer
• WFH Fridays

Bring the worlds biggest events to life
You might not know our name, but youve probably seen our work on stage, on screen or on the field. Our technology solutions and unique Global Production Ecosystem empower content creators and rights holders to tell their stories in breakthrough ways. Weve supported some of the worlds most watched productions and live events across sports, entertainment, concerts, festivals, film, TV and more.

This role offers the opportunity to support some of the worlds largest and most complex events, using the latest technology alongside some of the best people in the industry.

This position is remote in nature with required travel and can be based in the UK, Netherlands or Madrid, Spain.

What You'll Do
• As Programme Manager, youll provide the programme management leadership, structure and discipline required to successfully deliver complex, high-profile programmes including major live events where delivery dates simply cannot move.
• Working across functional teams and Initiative Owners, youll create and maintain the integrated programme picture, ensuring priorities, milestones, dependencies, decisions, risks and commitments are visible, understood and actively managed.
• Youll play a critical role in turning complexity into clarity and keeping teams focused on successful delivery. This includes:
• Establishing an effective programme operating rhythm, governance structure and appropriate controls without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Challenging incomplete thinking, assumptions and plans while protecting delegated ownership and accountability.
• Facilitating cross-functional discussions and helping teams navigate competing priorities and complex delivery challenges.
• Maintaining effective RAID, change control, readiness and decision-management processes.
• Partnering closely with the Managing Director, Major Events & Strategic Delivery, including constructively challenging priorities, focus and delegation when doing so will improve programme outcomes.

This is a hands-on programme leadership role not an administrative coordination position. Youll be expected to get into the detail that matters, ask difficult questions, frame decisions and drive action while maintaining strong relationships across the programme.

What Youll Need
• 5+ years of programme management experience, including advanced experience managing multiple interconnected projects as part of a coordinated programme.
• Demonstrated success leading large, complex, multi-functional programmes with significant executive visibility.
• Strong expertise in integrated planning, critical path management, RAID, dependency management, governance, change control and readiness management.
• Experience working on programmes with demanding or immovable delivery dates; experience within live events, broadcast, sports, entertainment, technology or similarly complex environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to turn complex programme information into clear, concise and decision-oriented narratives.
• Confidence facilitating challenging conversations and constructively holding senior stakeholders and peers accountable without relying on direct authority.
• Strong judgement about what should be resolved within a function, what requires Managing Director involvement and what warrants executive escalation.
• The ability to create structure in a fast-moving and evolving environment without introducing unnecessary process or bureaucracy.
• Exceptional follow-through and attention to the details that materially affect successful delivery, while being able to separate those details from noise.
• A collaborative, pragmatic and calm approach under pressure, with the confidence to hold a position while remaining open to better evidence or solutions.
• Ability to travel, including internationally.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.

  • Negotiate effectively with suppliers, venues, freelancers and specialist partners.

Clients and stakeholders

  • Build strong, trusted and enduring client relationships.
  • Act as a senior technical authority, presenting complex information and recommendations with

clarity and confidence.

  • Manage expectations while remaining focused on finding solutions that protect the creative

ambition of the project.

- Represent the business professionally with clients, venues, agencies, suppliers and other

external stakeholders.

- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand the services offered by the

business.

- Lead, motivate and support multidisciplinary project teams in high-pressure production

Event Manager
Red Events & Distribution Ltd
London Area, United Kingdom
£Negotiable
Full-time, On-site
Apply Now>

United Kingdom · Field-based with travel · Competitive salary

Make sure every concert happens — and happens properly.

RED EVENTS is an international creative agency that stages musical events in Europe's most extraordinary spaces — historic cathedrals, theatres, palaces, planetariums, orangeries and rooftops.

We produce hundreds of concerts every year across the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, the CIS and beyond — working with world-renowned musical brands and creating our own distinctive projects.

We are looking for an Event Manager to own how those concerts actually happen on the ground: the venues, the logistics, the people, and everything that has to work before an audience takes its seat.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Venues. Travelling across the UK for site visits and inspections. Meeting venue management in person, establishing first contact and keeping the relationship warm long after the first concert.

Logistics. Planning and coordinating everything that has to arrive in the right place at the right time — instruments, equipment, staging, transport, accommodation. Booking where it falls to you.

Scheduling. Building and maintaining the schedule for administrators and performers across concurrent events, and keeping it accurate when things move.

Contractors. Sourcing, briefing and coordinating suppliers — technical, staging, transport and everything in between. Including the urgent ones: a piano that needs tuning tonight, a supplier who cancels on the morning of the concert.

Purchasing and inventory. Procurement of what events need, and keeping track of company equipment: what we own, where it is, what condition it is in.

People. Recruiting, onboarding and coordinating concert administrators and volunteers. Making sure everyone knows what they are doing before the doors open.

Coordination. Working closely with the artist manager, ensemble leads and the head office — so that artistic, operational and commercial sides of an event stay aligned.

Reporting. Post-concert reports: what worked, what did not, what the venue was like, what to change next time. This feeds directly into how we plan the following season.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

— 3-5 years' experience in event production, venue operations, touring, hospitality or a comparable

operational role. The right to work in the United Kingdom.

— A full driving licence and willingness to travel across the country regularly.

— Availability to work evenings and weekends — that is when concerts happen.

— Genuine composure under pressure. Things go wrong on the day, and the job is to fix them without the audience noticing.

— Confidence dealing with venue managers, suppliers and performers face to face.

— Strong organisation: several events running in parallel, each with its own moving parts.

— English at C1 or above.

A STRONG ADVANTAGE

— Experience in classical music, theatre, concerts or cultural venues.

— Existing relationships with UK venues — churches, cathedrals, theatres, historic buildings.

— Understanding of technical riders, staging and sound.

— Experience managing volunteers or casual staff.

— Experience working with touring or international artists.

— Experience with Notion or similar coordination tools.

— Daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others).

— Additional European languages.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOK LIKE

— Concerts run without the head office having to intervene.

— Venue relationships that outlast a single booking — and venues that ask us back.

— A reliable network of contractors, including for the situations that cannot wait.

— Administrators and volunteers who arrive prepared and know their role.

— Schedules that hold, and problems flagged early rather than discovered late.

— Post-concert reports that genuinely improve the next event.

WHAT WE OFFER

— Work on international cultural projects, with more than 200 musicians performing with us monthly in the UK alone.

— Real breadth: venues across the whole of England, and — as the role develops — the possibility of working on projects beyond it.

— Direct work with international artists and world-renowned musical brands.

— Involvement in launching new concert formats, from cathedral programmes to immersive projects.

— A formal working relationship and paid holiday.

— Travel costs covered.

— A competitive salary, open to review.

— An ambitious, friendly and international team.

— Professional and career growth.

WHY RED EVENTS

We value initiative, independence and a genuine desire to keep growing. No two days are the same here: No two days are the same here: today you are inspecting a cathedral in York, tomorrow you are briefing administrators for a premiere in London, and a week later you are solving a supplier problem two hours before doors open in Brighton. If you want to see your work in a full hall and a concert that ran exactly as it should have — we'd love to meet you.

PRODUCTION MANAGER (RETAIL, EXPERIENTIAL & LIVE EVENTS)

Scratch Creative is an independent design and production studio creating refined physical experiences for some of the world’s leading brands.

From our Battersea studio, we bring creative thinking, design development and production delivery together under one roof.

Our work spans flagship retail, pop ups, exhibitions, live events and large scale brand activations across the UK and internationally. We work closely with ambitious brands to translate ideas into physical environments that are considered, commercially effective and beautifully delivered.

Collaborative by nature and exacting in execution, we care deeply about materials, craftsmanship and the details that define the finished experience.

As the studio continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead the technical development, fabrication and delivery of our projects.

THE ROLE

This is a mid to senior level, hands on production role for someone with a deep understanding of how exceptional physical environments are made.

The Production Manager sits at the point where design intent becomes physical reality.

You will take ownership of the production process, working from early design development through to fabrication, logistics, installation and final sign off.

You will work closely with our project and design teams to interrogate concepts, develop the right production approach and ensure every detail is practical, cost considered and ready to build.

You will manage a trusted network of fabricators, contractors and specialist suppliers, setting clear expectations and maintaining control across quality, programme and budget.

You will understand when to challenge a detail, when to develop an alternative and how to create value without diluting the creative ambition.

This is a client facing role with regular UK and international travel. You should be equally comfortable around a studio table, on a workshop floor managing pre-builds with partners, in a client meeting or leading an installation onsite.

Reporting into Head of Projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the production of retail, experiential and live event projects from design development through to completion
  • Translate creative concepts into intelligent, practical and beautifully executed production solutions
  • Develop production strategies, scopes of work, budgets and detailed delivery programmes
  • Review and interrogate drawings, specifications, materials and finishes throughout the design process
  • Work closely with the design team to protect creative intent while ensuring every detail is buildable and commercially viable
  • Advise on fabrication methods, construction details, materials and production efficiencies
  • Source, brief and manage fabricators, contractors, logistics providers and specialist suppliers
  • Obtain and interrogate supplier quotations, ensuring costs are accurate, competitive and aligned with the required standard
  • Build and manage production budgets, track costs and maintain commercial control throughout delivery
  • Drive value for clients through considered specification, procurement and value engineering
  • Create and manage detailed production schedules across fabrication, logistics, installation and removal
  • Carry out site visits, technical surveys, feasibility reviews and pre production meetings
  • Identify technical, commercial and logistical risks early and develop clear solutions
  • Oversee quality control throughout fabrication, including workshop visits, samples, prototypes and pre build reviews
  • Manage transport, freight, storage, customs and international logistics where required
  • Lead onsite installations and breakdowns, maintaining quality, safety, pace and control throughout
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the agreed standard
  • Maintain clear communication between clients, project teams, designers, suppliers and onsite crews
  • Support the Head of Projects across larger scale, technically complex and international programmes
  • Develop and maintain a trusted global network of production partners and specialist suppliers
  • Ensure appropriate health and safety documentation, compliance and working practices are in place across every stage of delivery

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced Production Manager with a strong understanding of fabrication, construction, logistics and onsite delivery.

You have delivered premium environments across retail, experiential or live events and understand the level of care required when translating ambitious creative work into physical form.

You are technically confident and comfortable discussing materials, finishes, fabrication methods, drawings, tolerances and construction details with designers, suppliers and clients.

You combine commercial awareness with a genuine appreciation for design. You know how to protect the creative vision while making informed decisions around cost, programme and buildability.

You are naturally solutions focused, composed under pressure and confident leading teams in fast moving environments.

You anticipate issues before they become problems, communicate clearly and take complete ownership of the finished result.

Most importantly, you care about the details. You understand that the quality of the final installation reflects the quality of every decision made along the way.

ESSENTIAL

  • 5+ years of production management experience across retail, experiential, exhibitions, live events or creative production
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication methods, materials, finishes and construction processes
  • Proven experience delivering complex physical builds from design development through to installation
  • Experience working with and managing fabricators, contractors, suppliers and specialist production partners
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience building, managing and reconciling production budgets
  • Ability to confidently review and interrogate technical drawings, specifications and production information
  • Experience developing scopes of work, production schedules and detailed delivery plans
  • Strong understanding of logistics, installation and onsite operations
  • Confident client facing communication and relationship management skills
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail and problem solving ability

  • Coordinate internal teams (design, workshop/fabrication, operations) and external suppliers/freelancers
  • Manage budgets, purchase orders and cost tracking; ensure projects deliver on time and in budget
  • Identify risks early, solve problems before they happen, and escalate when needed
  • Support production build, transport, installation and on-site delivery for live events

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience in project management within events, experiential, production, creative, or agency environments
  • Strong understanding of the production lifecycle — from planning and build through to installation and live days
  • Confident managing budgets, suppliers, and multiple project schedules
  • Excellent communication skills (client-facing and internal), with a calm, solution-focused mindset
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

  • Technical event production knowledge (AV, staging, builds, logistics, live event management)
  • Experience with immersive environments, exhibitions, roadshows, retail builds or product launches

Why Join Xquisite

  • Work on high-impact events and experiences for major brands
  • Be part of a team of strategists, creatives, and makers delivering ambitious work

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Technical Producer to help our customers take their events to the next level. Whether for content creation or audio-visual support, you bring innovation, experience and a calm, teaching head to help make exceptional events for our customers.

At the forefront of how we deliver events, your primary role will be to produce events and create content. With a coaching and teaching mindset, you’ll work with the wider production team to drive standards and continuous improvement, helping all to flourish.

With frequent time on location and opportunities worldwide, you work both autonomously and collaboratively to tackle the frequent challenges of the production environment. As the technical point-of-contact for key company customers, you own, maintain and develop those relationships and champion the company’s capabilities with a view to expanding the services and scope of work provided.

This role would suit an experienced technician (video, editing, lighting, sound, AV) looking to help supervise and guide a team and use their extensive knowledge to actively improve customers’ events with innovation and by pushing boundaries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management of Event Technology

Harnessing the right software and hardware to create innovative and creative solutions to deliver our customer’s events. From webinars to conferences, promotional films and product launches to graduations and awards.

Direct Client Communication

Actively participating in project meetings to help innovate, shape and define client requirements. Developing and maintaining client relationships.

Leading by Example

Supporting, coaching and mentoring the wider production team to ensure exceptional delivery and allow others to flourish.

Hands-on Event Production

Pulling everything together and taking ownership to deliver the project – acting as the technical point-of-contact for productions and using your creative, technical and project management alchemy* to ensure seamless production.

Equipment Management

Preparing and assigning equipment by creating ’equipment kit lists’ along with packing for your events in our warehouse will ensure you have end-to-end involvement in your projects. You will have responsibilities for a small section of our warehouse equipment, making sure your allocated kit is complete and in working order - supplying links and costs for any spare parts needed for repairs as needed.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Essential

  • Hands on experience as technical ’crew’ on events in one or a variety of roles, with a willingness to work on location frequently with flexibility (at times) to work sometimes long and varied hours if required.
  • At least 5 years of live technical delivery, with knowledge and understanding of camera work, live directing, streaming, A/V audio and/or editing.
  • Experience of managing or training crew, with a people-focussed attitude.
  • Detailed understanding of the overall goals and principles of event production scenarios.
  • An ability to work on multiple projects at various stages of production at the same time through excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Full UK driving license
  • Highly Desirable (but not essential)
  • At least 2 years of client management.
  • Virtual or hybrid event delivery with exposure to related software - such as vMix or OBS, and platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
  • Interest or experience in live streaming and content creation.
  • Strong IT literacy with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

*Although we use ’alchemist’ in a tongue-in-cheek way to affirm your ability to muster awesome events from a range of technical ingredients, actual alchemy or metallic experimentation would probably be discouraged.
